Tottenham’s terrible record at Stamford Bridge continued as they lost 3-0 to Chelsea, who are still unbeaten at the top of the table. It is very fair to say that we were the better side in the opening fifteen minutes or so before Eden Hazard and Didier Drogba found a way to unlock the Spurs defence, the two linking up well before the Belgian finished off the move with a good finish. The second goal was easily avoided, and so was the third to be honest. We played well and looked to catch Chelsea on the break in the opening stages of the game. Harry Kane hit the bar early on before the hosts ran away with it. Overall, it was a decent performance from Spurs, and again, the result does not clearly tell the full story and the way that we played, just like the game against Manchester City. Here is how Twitter reacted to the loss.
