It could be a case of one in, and one out for Tottenham in this coming transfer window. According to recent reports, Spurs are set to offer Aston Villa a straight swap deal involving Fabian Delph and Belgian international Mousa Dembele.

Dembele has not been given too many Premier League minutes under new head coach Mauricio Pochettino, and you would have to say that, from what we have heard from the likes of Les Ferdinand, is that motivation is a problem for the midfielder, with the former assistant coach having to tell the Belgian that he was going to play for Real Madrid if he played well. His next destination will not be quite Real Madrid if he leaves.

Many clubs are reportedly in for Fabian Delph, including Liverpool and Stoke with Mark Hughes expected to put in another loan bid. However, it could be Spurs that may persuade Villa into the transfer, with the lucrative offer of another guaranteed signing to replace Delph.
