Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen has been the subject of much interest from across Europe, with many bids set to come in during the January transfer window.

Many clubs have a strong interest in the Dane, who scored Tottenham’s late winner against Swansea on Sunday, with AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, PSG and Liverpool all looking to sign the in-form midfielder. The Reds are still considered to be in the race after they turned down the chance to sign him in August 2013.

The reported fee that the clubs are interested in buying him for is around £32m, although it is not clear whether the North London club are willing to sell up or not. An agent that does not representing the Dane shed some light on the situation to the media, with the story eventually finding its way into the Danish newspaper BT.

‘It is very common that when a young player performs at that level, and [he] becomes such a critical factor in a highly volatile team in the Premier League, it will be the biggest clubs knocking on the door next time. As for Tottenham’s interest in selling [Eriksen], I hasten to say that I have no knowledge of that,’ he said.

‘Levy is a skilled negotiator and is known to get the maximum price of Tottenham’s best players. So it is quite certain that a player like Eriksen will not be cheap.’

From midfield, Christian Eriksen has scored six Premier League goals this season from sixteen appearances.
