Since Mauricio Pochettino inherited this current Tottenham squad and as the season has gone on, it has become apparent that the Argentine simply doesn’t have the players to play the style of football that he wishes to play. This could lead to another upheaval and The Guardian claim that another upheaval could take place at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
It is believed that Pochettino will receive £20m to spend in the January transfer window, although this could raise to a much more superior figure once the head coach gets rid of the ‘dead wood’ that Spurs have littered around the squad.
After summer attempts to sign the Frenchman, Morgan Scneiderlin is one of Pochettino’s targets that he and Paul Mitchell have agreed on. Spurs could also make another move for Jay Rodriguez, potentially taking care of their attacking interests. Raul Albiol is the third target that Totteenham will chase early in 2015. Paul Mitchell reportedly is a big fan of Virgil van Dijk, and new head of recruitment of analysis is keen to make a bid of around £8m.
