It was not the best of performances from Tottenham when they played out a goalless draw against Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane. Erik Lamela didn’t have the best of games along with Nabil Bentaleb and Eric Dier. However, Hugo Lloris kept us in the game and ultimately won us the point in the end.

Hugo Lloris 8 – Made some very good saves to keep parity at 0-0, especially the one from Puncheon at point blank range near the end, top effort again from Hugo.

Ben Davies 7 – Defended his side well and was effective through the game, would like to see him be braver an take on his opposite number more often in matches, but still a solid display.

Jan Vertonghen 7 – Was very solid, had a few nervy moments, but made some very good tackles and kept the defensive line in shape. P.S He can defend!

Federico Fazio 7 – Kept Chamakh quiet for the whole game, he won every header in the air and out-muscled the Palace strikers, getting better every game he play for us.

Eric Dier 5 – Really struggled against Bolasie today, was beaten for pace and strength too often on the right and couldn’t keep him marked all day long.

Ryan Mason 6 – Plenty of effort but very ragged, he tried to force the ball into the box too many times resulting in loss of possession.

Nabil Bentaleb 5 – Made the wrong decisions on the ball and got caught in possession a number of times resulting in a Palace chance.

Erik Lamela 4 –Had a really poor game today. Was caught dwindling on the ball far too many times, made rash tackles and made a number of poor passes. Very bad day at the office.

Christian Eriksen 6 – Nearly scored early on after a fantastic piece of skill, but kept being isolated on the wing were his obvious talent is wasted.

Harry Kane 6 – Looked tired and frustrated today, had to drop very deep so many times in the game and tried forcing his work too hard.

Roberto Soldado 6 – Had 2 excellent opportunities to score in the first half that could’ve changed the game for us but didn’t put them away, didn’t have much else after that.

Nacer Chadli 5 –Came on at half time for Lamela but he did not create a lot and was a bit quiet.

Paulinho 5 – Came on for Mason in the second half. Had a half chance cleared off the line.

Aaron Lennon N/A – The game was crying for his pace/width, never had enough time to get into the game.
