Tottenham played out a 0-0 draw with Manchester United at White Hart Lane, in a game that saw Louis van Gaal’s men dominate most of the first period, and potentially could have won the game in that first half alone. The game staying goalless throughout the whole ninety minutes was mostly down to our goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who passed a late fitness test yesterday to play in this game, and he played a bit part also in getting the three points at the King Power Stadium against Leicester, making a number of key saves. Twitter was full of praise for the Frenchman and some said that he was a mile better than the Manchester United man between the sticks, David De Gea. Here is how Twitter reacted to the draw with United.
Great hard won point there; wasn’t much technical quality but we battled like hell. Proud of the team.

Could have lost it in the first half but should have won it at the end. Good clean sheet Lloris superb again. Kane worked his socks off.

I think today showed that Hugo is better than De Gea. You never see De Gea making the saves Hugo made today. Both great keepers though.
