With many fans criticising the transfer policy that Tottenham currently entertain, this policy could be set to change that the recruitment staff could be changed, with Paul Mitchell possibly joining up again with Mauricio Pochettino. However, to make room in the squad for these new targets, players will have to be sold. Reports suggest that Pochettino already has a very good idea about who he wants to offload in the January transfer window.

Reports claim that Aaron Lennon could be on his way out of the White Hart Lane, along with £17m Brazilian Paulinho and full-back Kyle Naughton. While you may question the sale of Lennon and Paulinho, you would feel that once DeAndre Yedlin signs, Kyle will be surplus to requirements, with him being the third choice right-back behind Kyle Walker, who started training again today, and Yedlin.

After some below-par performances, most notably against Besiktas in the Europa League, Vlad Chiriches is also believed the be on the list along with Andros Townsend, and £26m striker Roberto Soldado.

Mousa Dembele could be the final player to go after he said that he was not getting answers from Mauricio Pochettino as to why he was not getting a lot of playing time. The Belgian has also been linked with a move away.

In their places could come failed 2014 summer targets Mateo Musacchio, Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez as Pochettino looks to reunite with players he worked with at Southampton should he wish be Daniel Levy’s command.
